Pricing

Home

These prices are for our most popular 4 corner log shell.

The prices on this chart are for both fusion and full log building styles, the prices can go up or down a bit depending on the roof system and if you add log stairs and railing, but these are fairly representitive of what your shell will cost at todays market.

Remember that this is for the log shell this link will take you to the what's included page.

Aren't log homes really expensive?

Most basic 4 corner shells start between 45 and 70  dollars a square foot. The cost of the logs for the build plays a role in this price. The finished cost of a log home can be at many different levels. You can build a very simple design and the cost will reflect the simplicity. The more complex, the more per square foot the log home will cost. Costs are directly linked to number of corners or notches, number of log beams, high vaulted ceilings, amount of glass, big decks, covered porches and quality of finishing. A good general rule is if the style of finishing is similar in another type of construction, i.e. all wood finishes, and similar finishing, the finished log home cost will be only slightly more.

An example of a 4 corner plan

Below is a popular layout that can be changed to reflect your needs, if the shell isn't going on a basement but rather screw piles then one downstairs bedroom can be modified to be a utillity room and shed dormers can be added upstairs to make room for two bedrooms upstairs. The layout of the shells interior can be modified easily with this particular plan. It closely resembles "The Andrews" here on our site.
